The CRIK Upheaval

China, Russia, Iran and North Korea seem to be evolving into a partnership which could provide an alternative order to the existing US led global order. Lt Gen Raj Shukla (R) outlines the political, diplomatic, military and technological linkages between these nations and how they are uniting against USA. More importantly they are not averse to using non state actors to expand their influence. He talks of the flatlining of US power and challenges which are being posed to it. Though not yet a formal alliance or a partnership these countries are cooperating with each other in many unprecedented ways. While this be so, there are many problems which these countries face. These have also been highlighted as a counter view. Overall , these countries are posing a serious challenge to the existing global order and this movement needs to be analysed further as events unfold.
