This interaction with Mr Gurjit Singh was an eyeopener and a great education for me. . It told me how little India knows about Indonesia which is a near neighbour, the 3rd largest democracy, the biggest economy in ASEAN and a major link in the INDO PACIFIC architecture. Our ambition of being a regional power will go nowhere unless we expand our relationship with this country which is also on the rise. We need to increase our military diplomacy with Indonesia where there is adequate scope to do so. I would recommend you to see this video fully to fill in a void of your knowledge of IR.
