Global Food Weaponisation

It was a pleasure to discuss weaponisation of food with Maj Gen Harsha Kakar (R). As climate change is kicking in, food is increasingly becoming a determinant of hard power. In fact in my reckoning Food is already one of hard power indices besides economy and military capability, though we discussed it as part of soft power diplomacy. One has to recognise that food has been weaponised in the Russia Ukraine campaign and it will be so in the future also.
